About Me

Felipe Espreafico Guelerman

I am a postdoctoral researcher in Mathematics at the IMJ-PRG , Sorbonne Université, Paris, working within the Équipe Analyse Algébrique under the supervision of Professor Penka Georgieva.

My research interests center around enumerative aspects of Algebraic Geometry, Hodge theory, Modularity and their relations with Physics, especially Gromov-Witten, Donaldson-Thomas theory and Mirror Symmetry. I am specially interested in real and refined versions of these theories, Real Gromov-Witten invariants and A¹-enumerative geometry. The goal is not only to understand how physical invariants can be realized in this context, but also to explore more general problems. I am also interested in Singularity Theory and how it relates to the topics above.

Before joining Sorbonne Université, I completed my PhD in February 2024 at the Instituto Nacional de Matemática Pura e Aplicada (IMPA), Rio de Janeiro, under the supervision of Professor Hossein Movasati and co-supervision of Professor Johannes Walcher from the University of Heidelberg.
